Emma whacked her head against our bed frame the other day when she and Jackson were playing on the floor. He tried to grab her hair and she dodged out of the way. She smacked the orbital bone on the outside of her eye right into the metal on the underside of our bed. It created a HUGE knot immediately and these photos were taken about 3 days later. The purple you see is not the shadow of the crease of her eye. It's the dark part of the bruise with the yellow/greenish extending all the way to her ear. It was a doozie!
