Caveat to previous rant

Geez people - I like hip-hop music. If I had know that so many people would get their dander up because I mentioned Jay-Z, I would have left it out. My point was that Jay-Z IS talented - even if his lyrics are inappropriate for little ones. I meant that all the people trying to BE Jay-Z are the ones who need to give it up. I realize it's hypocritical of me to slam it and still listen to it, but I agree with Jay. (Take a look at his blog for a musician's take on the current "pulse" of hip-hop music.) There's good MUSIC - the lyrics are just depraved and not even original. Stop saying that I don't like Jay-Z. I do, I really do!
