The new hair is straight here b/c the stylist dried it straight to make sure she hadn't made any huge errors in "alignment" as she termed it. She's a new friend and she is a roller derby girl along with one of my fellow teachers from Lincoln. The stylist's roller derby name is Bitchie Cunningham and my friend's name is The Tell-Tale Tart (a nod to Poe). And we thought Arkansas was white-trash. You should go to a Florida roller derby bout. Wow. Maybe I'll post some pics next time I go. It's good fun and there's beer, so not a bad time altogether. Nap time is almost over. Here's another gratuitous picture of Miss E. She's got a shorter "do" too. We had about 3 inches cut off of her hair as well.

She's a pretty good photographer. Are you having a fun summer vacation or are you ready to go back to work? I would love to have a day or two off-- not without A/C though.
